Arduino has updated the Arduino Nano Matter’s Core toolchain to version 5.0, adding Zigbee networking to a board that already spoke Matter over Thread and Bluetooth LE. The single-radio update lets DIY makers build Zigbee devices with no new hardware, opening Arduino’s low-power board to the millions of Zigbee bulbs, sensors, and switches already in people’s homes.
